Association History

Thank you to our past association presidents for their tradition of leadership and service!


The Northwest Suburban Alumnae Association was founded on April 19, 1966 by a group of women with the desire to expand the Kappa sisterhood beyond college into a lifetime in the Northwest Chicago suburbs.

These Kappa women applied to be recognized as an association and were officially recognized by the Fraternity on April 19, 1966. From the date of our founding, we have striven to connect with Kappas to continue the tradition of community, leadership, philanthropy, and friendship.
